Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of a cash-based practice?

In a cash-based practice, clinicians do not have to worry about if all services provided will be reimbursed by insurance. This means our mental space isn't taken up by concerns that detract from our time together and we get to provide truly individualized care in a one-on-one setting, giving you the attention you deserve so that you can get better results faster.

What areas of Denver do you travel to?

Services are provided within a 30-minute radius of Englewood. All services are provided at the patient's home.

What are the benefits of a mobile (in-home) practice?

Comfort, convenience, and clarity. You get answers about your symptoms and how to best address them in the comfort of your own home with appointments that work around your schedule.

Do I need a referral?

Nope, go ahead and book that appointment! Unless you have a federal insurance like Medicare or Medicaid, no referral is needed in the state of Colorado.

Why don't you take insurance?

Insurance companies place several restrictions on what they cover. In standard clinics, you may not be offered as many solutions to your symptoms due to a lack of coverage by insurance. At Sojourn Physical Therapy and Pelvic Health, we want to be able to treat our patients with all options, regardless of if we get reimbursed by insurance. We value individualized, one-on-one care.

Are you FSA/HSA eligible?

Yes!! Physical therapy is a qualified medical expense/covered service for FSA/HSA accounts. You can pay with your FSA/HSA card or submit your receipt for reimbursement.

How can I submit this to insurance to go towards my deductible?

I can provide a superbill for you to provide your insurance provider upon request.
